PROJECT ELEMENTS… the Art of Design.
We use the Visual Elements of Art, including line, color, texture, value, space, shape, form, and scale to create our landscape design compositions. These visual elements are the fundamental building blocks that we use to create inspiring and memorable works of landscape architecture. Below are examples of how we use these design elements in Landscape Architecture.

LINE
The way that two points in space connect... indicates movement and direction.

-
TEXTURE

-
VALUE

-
SPACE

-
SHAPE

-
FORM
Three-dimensional physical object that has volume, depth, and occupies space.
-
SCALE
